Rox Orange Sorghum
Rox Orange is a selection of forage sorghum released by the Kansas State Agricultural Experiment Station in the 1930’s for sweet syrup but is frequently used for livestock feed. It is a medium-early maturing that can reach 8’ to 12’ in height. It is distinctly inferior in both yield and quality to modern BMR hybrids.
